Project: The Welsh Games Academy (Case Study)
Role: Project Manager, Digital Educator
Programs used: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Google Docs, Flowlabs,
Game Maker Studio 2, Canva.
Description:
This case study showcases how I designed, developed, and delivered the Welsh Games Academy — a community-driven game design programme created to support beginners and underrepresented learners. Originally run through The Arcade Vaults, the project combined accessible teaching, industry partnerships, and practical workshops to help people take their first steps into game development.
I cover the challenges faced, my roles and responsibilities, the outcomes achieved, and what I learned from managing every aspect of the project — from branding and partnerships to hands-on delivery.
